1 dead, 1 injured in one-vehicle crash on US 101 near Shelton

According to WSP Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, the single-vehicle accident occurred around 2 a.m. Tuesday. The 56-year-old driver, William W. Weiss, died at the scene. A female passenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to live. No other vehicles were involved.
Officials are investigating the cause of the crash, but according to KOMO News, believe that drugs or alcohol could have been contributing factors.
