2 lanes of I-5 southbound blocked due to collision near Michigan St

SEATTLE, WA – Two lanes of southbound I-5 at S. Michigan St. were blocked on Thursday morning due to a car accident, the state department of transportation reports.

According to a tweet from WSDOT, the accident happened around 7:50 a.m. Thursday. The HOV and left lanes were blocked while crews towed the vehicles involved. WSDOT did not report any injuries.
