20-year-old injured, facing DUI charges after car rolls over, catches fire
Request Free ConsultationELTOPIA, WA (FRANKLIN COUNTY) – A 20-year-old driver is thought to have been under the influence when he crashed his vehicle, leading to a fiery accident north of Pasco on Saturday night.
According to KOMO News, the accident happened on Highway 395, about ten miles north of Pasco, at about 9:30 p.m., when 20-year-old Anthony Vargas Martinez lost control of his vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed.
The car then overturned, before bursting into flames.
Vargas Martinez was able to escape the vehicle before the vehicle was entirely consumed by the fire.
He was taken to the hospital for the treatment of non-critical wounds. No other people were reported as injured.
Vargas Martinez is facing charges of negligent driving and DUI.
