27-year-old woman dies after hitting parked construction vehicle head-on
Request Free ConsultationTACOMA, WA – A 27-year-old woman died late Monday night after losing control of her vehicle and crashing first into a parked car and then into a parked piece of construction equipment on the 7600 block of South Sheridan.
According to South Sound News, the accident happened around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday morning. Early reports to South Sound 911 suggested the victim’s vehicle caught fire after it crashed. The victim was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Tacoma Police Traffic Investigation Team is working to determine whether impairment or speeding were factors in the crash.
