According to KOMO News, the crash happened at around 10:25 a.m. near Maytown Rd in the northbound lanes of the highway when a motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle, possibly because of oil on the road.
The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old Olympia man, crashed into the back of a semi-truck, which then drove over the bike.
The victim died at the scene.
Officials believe a second truck driver ran over the motorcyclist after the initial accident, and that the driver failed to stop after striking the bike.
Authorities are searching for the whereabouts and identity of the second truck driver.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
