3 people injured after 13-year-old falls asleep at the wheel, crashes car
Request Free ConsultationGRANT COUNTY, WA – Three people were hospitalized after a 13-year-old boy reportedly fell asleep and crashed a vehicle in Grant County last night.
According to KOMO News, the accident occurred on southbound State Route 243 when a 13-year-old driver fell asleep at the wheel.
The vehicle went off the side of the roadway, then overturned.
The driver, a 21-year-old passenger, and a 31-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Authorities, who do not believe intoxicated driving played a role in the crash, may be pressing charges against the teenager.
