Two semi-trucks crash on I-5 near 88th St

MARYSVILLE, WA – A crash involving two semi-trucks delayed traffic Thursday morning on Interstate 5 northbound near 88th St. northeast.

KOMO journalist Paris Jackson tweeted an image from the accident, which occurred around 6 a.m. Thursday. It is not clear what caused the collision or if anyone was injured, but rain compounded the traffic formed as a result. The state Department of Transportation reported that the accident blocked the off-ramp to 88th St. and the two right lanes.
