Update: Woman killed in crash with semi-truck on I-5
Request Free ConsultationEVERETT, WA – A 36-year-old woman died in a car accident involving a semi-truck on Interstate 5 near State Route 529 on Monday morning.
KOMO News identified the woman as Everett resident Brenda L. Cuff. First responders pronounced Cuff dead at the scene. A 37-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries.
Washington State Patrol determined that Cuff was driving her Honda Odyssey at a high rate of speed on southbound I-5 when she lost control and crashed into a guardrail. From there, the Honda swerved into the path of the semi-truck. The 36-year-old semi-truck driver was not injured.
