Collision on I-405 at 30th St creates 5-mile backup, unknown injuries

RENTON, WA – An accident on northbound Interstate 405 at 30th St blocked the right lane on the highway Tuesday morning, creating a five-mile buildup.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the accident happened around 8:25 a.m. No injuries were reported, but due to the traffic backup, travelers were encouraged to use different routes.
