Allegedly intoxicated woman crashes into Parkland Papa John’s restaurant
Request Free ConsultationPARKLAND, WA (PIERCE COUNTY) – A woman is facing possible DUI charges after she crashed an SUV into a Papa John’s Pizza in Parkland this evening, according to the Pierce County Sheriff.
The accident occurred on Military Road at about 5:30 p.m., when a woman who has yet to be publicly identified crashed a blue Mazda CX-5 into the window of the pizza restaurant.
Luckily, nobody was hurt in the accident, and the 59-year-old driver was able to extricate herself from the wreckage.
According to the PCSO, the driver’s blood alcohol level was around 0.22 percent, which is nearly three times the legal limit of .08 percent, and she was showing signs of being intoxicated at the scene.
Further details on possible charges were not immediately released.
