Pedestrian killed in Aurora Avenue hit-and-run crash

Detectives investigating a fatality hit and collision involving a pedestrian in the 2400 block robbery of Aurora Ave N. Traffic may be blocked in the Southbound lanes. More information when available.

The collision occurred in the 2400 block of northbound Aurora, before 9:55 p.m., when a pedestrian was struck by the driver of an undisclosed vehicle.
The driver, who has yet to be described by police, then fled the scene.
The pedestrian died as a result of the accident.
Authorities have yet to release their identity.
Seattle PD advised travelers in the area to be aware of possible lane closures and traffic delays.
