According to WSP’s report, the driver of a box truck was traveling too safe for conditions as he exited southbound I-5 to eastbound I-405, which caused the vehicle to tip over and collide with a concrete barrier on the right-hand side of the roadway. The barrier then fell onto the on-ramp from WA-518, where it struck a Honda Pilot driven by 57-year-old Chinderpal Singh.
Singh suffered a neck injury and was taken to Valley Medical for treatment. Robel Issak, the 36-year-old operator of the box truck, was unhurt.
