Collision blocks NB I-405 past Sunset Blvd

RENTON, WA – A collision blocked the HOV lane of northbound I-405 north of Sunset Boulevard this morning, affecting early rush hour traffic in the area.

The Washington State Department of Transportation reported the incident at 6:12 a.m. today. A tweet sent at 6:49 a.m. said that the incident had been cleared, but that traffic in the area had backed up for three miles, and was affecting commuters as far away as northbound SR-167.
