Drunk driving leads to crash on I-90 at 148th Ave

BELLEVUE, WA – A drunk driver totaled his Tesla following an incident on I-90 and 148th Avenue on Sunday evening, the Washington State Patrol reports.

According to WSP District 2 PIO Trooper Rick Johnson, alcohol and road rage were both contributing factors in the collision. While it is unclear how many vehicles were involved, Johnson said that no serious injuries were reported.

A photograph taken at the scene shows a Tesla sedan in a ditch on the side of the interstate. Damage to the roof suggests it may have overturned in the course of the accident.
