19-year-old dead in single-vehicle rollover in Shoreline

SHORELINE, WA – A 19-year-old man was killed in a high-speed accident with a tree along Interstate 5 in Shoreline early on Tuesday morning.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the man was headed south in a  2013 Volkswagen Jetta on I-5 at a high rate of speed. His vehicle veered off the road near NE 175th Street at about 2:15 a.m. It went up the embankment and struck a tree.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Spencer Mudaliar of Mountlake Terrace.

No other vehicles were involved.
