Driver dead after vehicle crashes and rolls in pond in Mason County
Request Free ConsultationBROCKDALE, WA (MASON COUNTY) – One person was killed after their vehicle crashed and landed in a pond in Mason County early this morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
#MasonCounty: #WSP troopers investigated what tragically became a 1-car, fatality collision early this morning on US 101 at Purdy Cutoff Road north of #Shelton.
The driver was traveling southbound on US 101 and went off the road to the right, striking a light pole.

The accident occurred on Highway 101, near Purdy Cutoff Road, when a driver went off the side of the roadway and collided with a utility pole. The vehicle overturned, then landed in a fish hatchery pond nearby.
The driver, who was not immediately identified, died as a result of the crash.
No other people were hurt in the accident.
