Dirt bike accident kills 29-year-old on Whidbey Island

CLINTON, WA – A dirt bike accident took the life of a 29-year-old Bellingham resident in Clinton last Thursday, according to the Whidbey News-Times.

The accident happened when Joshua Heneger was riding with friends in a wooded area on a 2006 Honda dirt bike off Jewett Road.

When Henegar crashed, the handlebar of the bike struck him in the chest. Despite not wearing a helmet, he did not appear to have suffered a head injury.

His friends ended up taking him to a clinic after he complained of trouble breathing. From there, he was transported WhidbeyHealth Medical Center where he died.
