1 dead, 1 injured in single-vehicle crash on Bothell Way in Kenmore

KENMORE, WA – A driver was killed and a passenger was injured as the result of a single-vehicle collision on Bothwell Way on Sunday evening, according to the Bothell-Kenmore Reporter.

Units with the Northshore Fire Department were called to the 6100 block of Bothell Way just after 5:30 p.m. on May 2. A vehicle had run off the south side of the roadway and into the guardrail and nearby foliage, trapping its driver and a passenger inside the wreckage. Emergency responders rushed them to a nearby hospital, where the driver later died.

The King County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident.
