4 people hospitalized following multi-vehicle crash on SR-17 in Othello

OTHELLO, WA (ADAMS COUNTY) – Four people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 17 in Adams County this afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened about five miles south of Othello on SR-17, near milepost 24, around 4:45 p.m., when four vehicles collided.

Four people were taken to the hospital in Othello with undisclosed injuries.

At this time, authorities do not believe that intoxicated driving played a role in the crash.

The roadway was blocked for about an hour as authorities investigated. By 5:50 p.m., the crash had been cleared from the road.
