Accident slows traffic on NB I-5 ahead of WA-18

FEDERAL WAY, WA – An accident on northbound I-5 has blocked the right lane ahead of Exit 142A to WA-18, King 5 reports.

The incident—which may be related to a major construction project in the area—was first reported at 11:45 a.m. and appears to still be affecting traffic nearly two hours later.

While it is unclear at this time what may have caused the accident and whether anyone was injured, we will update this blog if that information becomes available.
