Five people hospitalized after single-car crash in University Place

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA – Five people were hospitalized following a pin-in collision near a roundabout in University Place last night, according to KIRO 7.

The collision occurred on Olympic Boulevard W and Grandview Drive W at about 9:30 p.m., when a lone vehicle crashed.

Five people inside the vehicle had to be extricated from the wreckage. Four of those victims were taken to the hospital with critical, severe injuries.

The condition of the fifth victim was not immediately available.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
