Two people in critical condition after crash in Cottage Lake

COTTAGE LAKE, WA — Two people are in critical condition after their car struck a tree near Cottage Lake on Monday, according to KOMO News.

The crash occurred around noon on NE 133rd Street by 206th Avenue NE, southeast of Woodinville.

Deputies and emergency medics were called to the scene after reports of a significant crash.

Woodinville Fire & Rescue said that the car sustained severe damage after slamming against the tree.

The driver and passenger had to be removed from the vehicle and were immediately transported to the hospital where they are being treated for serious injuries.

No other information about the two victims was made available.

Following the incident, Northeast 133rd Street was closed to aid clean-up and investigation.
