Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after I-90 crash in Kittitas County

KITTITAS COUNTY, WA — A man was hospitalized Wednesday night after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash along Interstate 90 westbound in Kittitas County, as reported by KIMA.

The motorcyclist was traveling along I-90 westbound close to milepost 132 when his vehicle veered toward the center dirt embankment, throwing him off the bike and onto the road, according to a report by Washington State Patrol.

Following the incident, the man was taken by airlift to Harborview Medical Center.

No other person was involved, and no other injuries were reported.

WSP have attributed the cause of crash to be wheels leaving the road. No impairment was suspected.

The man was reported to have been wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
