Man killed in motorcycle accident along SR 3 in Gorst
Request Free ConsultationGORST, WA — A 59-year-old man was killed Sunday evening in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on state Route 3 in Gorst, according to KOMO News.
Troopers and medics responded to the accident in the southbound lanes near the state Route 16 interchange at around 8:00 p.m.
The motorcycle rider, a resident of Gig Harbor, was discovered dead at the crash site. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
An early investigation into the incident found that the man had lost control of the motorcycle at the road’s curve, causing it to crash into a guardrail. The man was ejected from the bike as the vehicle continued across SR-16 before coming to a stop on the westbound shoulder.
