Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA — A 46-year-old man was hospitalized Tuesday night after he was struck in a hit-and-run collision while riding a scooter in west Seattle’s Junction neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.
Fire crews and police responded to the incident at 45th Avenue Southwest and Glenn Way Southwest on the west end of the Junction neighborhood at around 10:02 p.m.
The victim was found conscious and suffering from a possible fracture. A neighbor at the scene who happened to be a nurse practitioner attended to the man before medics arrived.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition has not been confirmed.
Witnesses said they did not get a clear view of the vehicle involved, but one account describes the car as a blue sedan made in the 1990s. The sound of the car dragging its bumper was audible and there is reason to believe the vehicle sustained significant damage from the crash.
No further information has been reported.
