Two killed in motorcycle crash on I-705 in Tacoma
Request Free ConsultationTACOMA, WA — Two people died Sunday evening after a single-vehicle motorcycle collision on an Interstate 705 southbound ramp in Tacoma, according to King 5.
The accident happened on the ramp from I-705 southbound to Interstate 5 northbound shortly. It was first reported at 6:31 p.m. by Trooper Robert Reyer with Washington State Patrol.
Two riders, a woman and a man, were pronounced dead at the scene after their motorcycle struck a concrete barrier.
WSP said high speed and impairment are suspected factors in the crash.
Evening commuters were told to expect delays as authorities conducted an investigation.
