Vehicle fire shuts down three lanes on I-405 NB near Kirkland
Request Free ConsultationKING COUNTY, WA — Crews responded to a vehicle fire Wednesday evening that closed three right lanes on interstate 405 northbound near Kirkland, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The incident initially impacted the right shoulder along the northbound lanes of I-405 just north of state Route 520. It was first reported by WSDOT at 5:17 p.m.
Three right northbound lanes south of Northeast 70th Place at milepost 17 were later closed at 5:24 p.m. when fire response crews arrived on scene.
Authorities opened toll lanes to divert all northbound traffic just north of SR-520.
At 5:54 p.m., the incident was reported cleared and all northbound lanes on I-405 south of Northeast 70th Place were reopened.
