One dies, one critically injured after pickup truck crash in Lynnwood
Request Free ConsultationLYNNWOOD, WA — A 20-year old man died Tuesday morning after being struck by a pickup truck that also critically injured another 20-year-old man in Lynnwood, according to KIRO 7 News.
The collision occurred near the 16900 block of 13th Avenue West in the Larch Way neighborhood south of Martha Lake at around 1:40 a.m.
Detectives say five young adults were traveling 13th Avenue West on bicycles, scooters and skateboards when the two men in the group were hit while in a traffic lane.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, where they discovered two 20-year-old with critical injuries.
One of the men injured was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The other young man was taken to Harborview Medical Center. His condition has not been disclosed.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 64-year-old woman, remained behind and cooperated with the investigation.
