The Maple Valley man was found deceased early morning July 18th in the area of 21401 244th Avenue Southeast. He was believed to have been fatally struck by a vehicle at around 5:00 a.m.
The Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Response and Reconstruction (MARR) team were able to use a combination of headlight fragments, surveillance, and other clues to narrow the search to a gray Toyota Camry manufactured between 2001 to 2006, or similar. Detectives say the Camry should have sustained headlight and/or hood damages in the crash.
The unit also believe the at-fault Camry was traveling with another vehicle that day around 6:15 a.m. in an area around the 22700 block of Southeast 216th Way.
