Driver sought after fatal pedestrian hit-and-run in Kitsap County

KITSAP COUNTY, WA — Deputies remain on the search for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 35-year-old male pedestrian near the Bangor Trident Base in Poulsbo, according to Q13 Fox.

Authorities responded to a report of a body found near the intersection of Clear Creek Road Northwest and Northwest Orweiler Road at about 10:45 p.m.

A preliminary investigation determined the victim was fatally struck by a northbound vehicle on Clear Creek Road.

A combination of witness accounts and found evidence indicates the causing vehicle is possibly a 2007-2012 Nissan Sentra.

As of Wednesday, the at-fault driver and vehicle have not been found. The investigation remains in progress.
