Crash shuts down two lanes on I-5 SB near mall in Lynnwood

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Monday morning blocked two right lanes on Interstate 5 southbound near the Alderwood shopping mall in Lynnwood, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

On I-5 southbound just north of I-405 there is a collision blocking the 2 right lanes.

The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-5 just north of the merge to Interstate 405. It was first reported by WSDOT at 10:45 a.m.

WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) and Washington State Patrol troopers responded to the scene at around 10:53 a.m.
