Rollover crash involving semi reported on I-5 in south Tacoma
Request Free ConsultationPIERCE COUNTY, WA — A rollover collision was reported Thursday afternoon involving a semi-truck and a smaller car on Interstate 5 near Tacoma’s Excelsior area, according to Washington State Patrol.

The accident took place on a stretch of I-5 northbound just before South 56th Street and was reported by Trooper Robert Reyer at 12:13 p.m.
WSP, Washington State Department of Transportation crews, and medical personnel arrived on scene where the involved car was at rest on its roof.
The cause of the crash has not been reported, and authorities have not released details confirming any injuries.
Motorists were told to expect delay as three right lanes became fully blocked.
