Crews respond to fatal crash in Tacoma’s South End neighborhood
Request Free ConsultationPIERCE COUNTY, WA — At least one person was killed Monday night after a single-vehicle accident in the South End area of Tacoma, according to Tacoma Police Department.

Investigators arrived on scene at South 72nd Street between Cushman Avenue and Sheridan Avenue shortly before 9:00 a.m.
Little information has been released at this time, but one vehicle appears to have struck a pole, resulting in at least one fatality.
Authorities did not report any other injuries, and no other vehicles were said to be involved.
Motorists were asked to detour around the area as TPD’s Collision Investigation Team worked the scene.
By 5:48 a.m., the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reported reopened.
