Christa E. Cushon

Christa E. Cushon was born and raised in Western Washington. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Hawaii Pacific University. While in law school Christa worked as a student attorney in the Juvenile Justice Clinic representing juveniles accused of felonies. She has also argued before the Maine Supreme Court and written briefing for the United States Court of Appeals.

Upon graduating law school Christa worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Pierce County’s Domestic Violence unit where she gained substantial trial experience prosecuting both felony and misdemeanor crimes. Outside of the office Christa enjoys running, tropical plant care, and spending time with her rescue dog Charlie.
