Ocean Park, Washington – Four People Injured in Crash Involving Three Vehicles

Ocean Park, Washington (October 17,2019) – A total of four people sustained injuries in a crash involving three vehicles on Peninsula Highway on Thursday morning. The patients all came from a single vehicle, involving a woman from Ilwaco and three children who were passengers in her vehicle. None of the injured required transportation to the hospital for treatment.

According to the report from the Washington State Patrol, a woman from Ocean Park was driving on the Peninsula Highway and she slowed down to make a left turn. A Virginia man driving behind her was unable to stop in time as she slowed down, and the two collided. This caused the first vehicle to be pushed into a third vehicle in the northbound lane. All three vehicles sustained reportable damage in the crash. The man from Virginia was charged with 2nd degree negligent driving.

Regardless of which vehicle you are driving, one must always exercise caution on the road. With both cars and trucks, drivers must be responsible for making sure their vehicle is in a good condition and not prone to vehicle failure, and to always consider the road and weather conditions.
