I-5 near 54th Avenue East blocked due to collision

TACOMA, WA – A car accident on Interstate 5 near 54th Avenue East blocked the right lane and the off-ramp Wednesday morning.

Updated: Collision on I-5 SB at milepost 137.2 near 54th Ave E. Beginning at 10:17 am on July 1, 2020 until further notice. The right lane is blocked and the ramp to 54th is partially blocked.

According to the Tacoma branch of the Washington State Department of Transportation, the incident occurred around 10:15 a.m.

No injuries were reported, but traffic was slowed due to the temporary road and ramp closures.
