At least one dead after two-vehicle crash on Hwy 97 in Chelan County

The crash happened at around 4:20 p.m. on northbound U.S. 97 near milepost 169, about five miles north of the Blewett Pass Summit and ten miles north of Liberty, when two vehicles collided.
At least one person was pronounced dead after the accident.
The cause of the crash and the identity of the deceased were not immediately released.
The roadway was blocked for several hours following the accident. By around 7:30 p.m., the road was reopened.
