Collision on I-5 northbound at N Thorne Lane blocks 2 lanes

TACOMA, WA – An accident on northbound Interstate 5 at North Thorne Lane SW blocked two lanes of traffic on Wednesday afternoon.

Updated: Collision on I-5 NB at milepost 123.7 near Thorne Ln SW beginning at 5:23 pm on December 2, 2020 until further notice. The two right lanes are blocked.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the accident happened around 5:23 p.m. WSDOT Tacoma did not report any injuries. The two right lanes of the interstate were blocked until 5:40 p.m., according to a later tweet from WSDOT Tacoma.
