Driver hospitalized after hitting parked pickup truck in west Seattle
Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA — An elderly man was injured Tuesday afternoon after running his car into a parked vehicle in Seattle’s North Admiral neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.
The accident took place on the 1400 block of Alki Avenue and was first reported at around 2:29 p.m.
Police believe the at-fault driver appears to have accelerated over a parking island and rear-ended the parked truck.
The driver, a man in his late 70s, was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition. The extent of his injuries is unclear at this time.
