Driver injured after crashing car into Kent restaurant

KENT, WA —  A driver sustained minor injuries Wednesday afternoon after crashing a vehicle into Saigon Soul Vietnamese Restaurant in Kent, according to Kent Reporter.

Authorities with Puget Sound Fire responded to the scene at 24202 104th Avenue Southeast and reported the incident at 3:07 p.m.

An image shared by Kent Reporter shows extensive damage to the restaurant’s largely glass storefront, suggesting the vehicle plowed through the two front doors.

No other details regarding the driver have been released.  No other injuries have been reported.
