DUI crash injures one, causes vehicle fire in Spokane

SPOKANE, WA – At least one person was injured in an accident caused by an impaired driver on Interstate 90 near Geiger Rd last Wednesday.

Troopers investigate an early morning crash that resulted in injuries and arrest for vehicular assault by impaired driver.

Fortunately nobody died…..

According to footage released by State Trooper J. Sevigney, the accident also caused one of the vehicles involved to catch fire.

The causing driver was arrested for vehicular assault and for driving under the influence.

Officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
