Garage catches fire and causes road closures in Tacoma

The incident occurred in the 600 block of N Howard Street before 5 a.m., when a two-vehicle detached garage caught fire.
The blaze was contained to the garage and was knocked down within a short time. By 5:16 a.m., the fire was under control.
Authorities closed part of Howard Street and 6th Avenue as they worked the accident. By 5:43 a.m., the roadways were clear again.
No injuries were reported in the incident, which remains under investigation at this time.
