Humptulips, Washington – Driver Dead in Single-Vehicle Crash

Humptulips, Washington (December 17, 2019) – A driver died in a single-vehicle crash at milepost 111 of US-101 on Tuesday evening. The victim was reported to be a 29 year-old woman from Humptulips. The name of the victim has not been released.

According to the information from the Washington State Patrol, the victim was heading northbound on the highway around 7 p.m. The driver then failed to negotiate a curve, causing her vehicle to leave the roadway and hit an embankment. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

In side collisions, the greatest risk comes to the passenger on the particular side that received the impact. No matter the type of accident, all crashes are bound to cause a dreadful situation for all involved.
