Injured man arrested for DUI after crash kills motorcyclist
Request Free ConsultationSPANAWAY, WA – An injured man was arrested for drunk driving after fatally injuring a motorcyclist on State Route 7 in Spanaway on Sunday night.
According to Washington State Trooper Robert Reyer, the accident happened near the corner of SR-7 and 268th Street East. One car and a motorcycle were involved.
The motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident.
The car driver, a 30-year-old man, was in critical condition when he was transported to an area hospital. He was also placed under arrested for DUI.
The roadway was closed in both directions for hours overnight.
