Logging truck rolls, loses its load on US 101 near Forks

FORKS, WA – A fully loaded log truck crashed, rolled, and lost its load on US Highway 101 just north of Upper Hoh Road in Forks on Monday.

#JeffersonCounty #Forks: SR-101 mp 180 (approx 10 mi south of Forks/1.5 mi north of Upper Hoh Rd) is fully blocked with no detours.

A fully loaded log truck is reported to have rolled and lost its load. Fire, aid, & troopers still enroute the scene. Please avoid the area.

The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries, according to Washington State Trooper Chelsea Hodgson.

Hodgson did not confirm the cause of the accident.
