Major crash shuts down three lanes on I-5 SB near Kent

On I-5 southbound just north of SR 516 there is a collision blocking the 2 left lanes.

The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-5 just north of the merge to state Route 516 near the city’s Midway neighborhood. It was first reported by WSDOT at 6:45 a.m.
Two left lanes were initially reported closed but the closure was later updated to three left lanes, including the HOV lane, as Washington State Patrol troopers and Seattle Fire crews worked to clear the collision.
At 8:38 a.m., all previously blocked lanes were reported reopened.
No further details have been shared on the vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
