Man fatally struck by train in late-night accident at Carkeek Park Road

Carkeek Park Rd: Correction – paramedics attempted life saving efforts, but the adult male (approx. 25 years old) was unfortunately pronounced deceased. Scene turned over to SPD.

The accident happened on Carkeek Park Road at about 10:30 p.m., when a man thought to be about 25 years old was struck by a train.
Despite the efforts of emergency crews, the victim died at the scene.
The identity of the victim is not available at this time.
