Man hospitalized after being hit by train in Seattle’s Chinatown-Intl
Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA – A man was critically injured Wednesday evening after being struck by a Sound Transit train in the Chinatown-International District of Seattle, according to KIRO 7 News.
The incident occurred in the 400 block of 5th Avenue South and was first reported by Seattle Fire at 6:45 p.m.
The injured pedestrian was found inside the transit tunnel and not on a public road.
Crews with Seattle Fire extricated and evaluated the man before transporting him to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. No other information has been disclosed on his condition.
An investigation into what led up to the incident remains underway.
