Man hospitalized after being struck by car in Seattle’s Junction area
Request Free ConsultationSEATTLE, WA — A 66-year-old male pedestrian was injured Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection near the Junction area in west Seattle, according to West Seattle Blog.
The collision happened in the area of California Avenue Southwest, Southwest Edmunds Street, and Erskine Way Southwest shortly before 2:05 p.m.
The Seattle Fire Department said the injured pedestrian was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition, though no other information has been disclosed about the extent of his injuries.
The intersection was closed as emergency personnel responded to the incident but was reopened by 2:22 p.m.
