Man hospitalized after car causes motorcycle crash in SeaTac
Request Free ConsultationKING COUNTY, WA — A motorcyclist suffered serious spinal and head injuries Saturday after a car caused the rider to crash and fall down an embankment in SeaTac, according to Q13 FOX.
The man was traveling on Orilla Road South when a gold Lincoln town car made an abrupt wide turn in the motorcycle’s path. In an attempt to dodge the car, the motorcyclist swerved out of the way and crashed thirty feet down an embankment.
As of Wednesday, the victim remained in critical condition.
Authorities said dash cam video shows the causing vehicle slowing for a moment but then driving away from the scene.
According to detectives, the fleeing driver may still be charged for a hit-and-run since they failed to stop and help the injured rider.
A search was underway for an older gold-colored Lincoln town car with no front license plate.
